“Putting Pennies Before People”: The Flint Michigan Water Crisis, and Lead Poisoning

The water in Flint, MI was poisoned because legislators refused to spend $100/day on chemicals to reverse the problems caused by changing sources from Lake Michigan to the Flint River. In this interview, Traci Kornak, Chairperson  of Michigan's 3rd Congressional District, calls the move “putting pennies before people.”
